PDFPrint

The villa was built in one of Ataturk's visit to Yalova in 1929. The architect is Prof. Sedat Hakki Eldern and its construction was completed in 38 days. Originally made out of wood, the villa got the look it has today after some restorations, it is a two-storey building. Atatiirk took the decisions for the foundation of the party of Serbest Firka and the Week of Home Products here in this villa. The villa has three Honour Lounges and eleven rooms. Atatiirk hosted many of his guests including the international ones here in this villa. Some of the furnitures were taken from Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul. Inside the villa are a picture made by the Russion artist Ayvazovski, Persion and Hereke carpets, French, Japaneese and Chineese chinaware, a French lacquered chair, a radio covered with antelope skin and a German piano.
