It is situated near the coast inside a housing estate in Ciftlikkoy. It was completely built in bricks. It was built in the 6'lh century as water storage and in early Byzantium period, it was converted into a church. With its Exedras that are found as places closed in its four corners, it is a good example of the Greek Cross Shape that is the mostly used type of orthodox architecture. The abscissa is quite eye-catching. As the main construction of the church was set on fire by the Greeks after the War of Independence, only some ruins are visible today.
